Job Description

Cellgain specializes in the design of next generation communication systems and software for today’s most advanced RF communication networks. Based in the New York City metropolitan area, Cellgain is seeking exceptional engineers & developers to work in a dynamic team envi-ronment on an array of challenging problems.

The Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle project management including design, procurement, planning, construction and close out of the endeavor and other assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project development of large-scale enterprise systems with real-time opera-tional requirements, achieving project and customer success.
  • Prepare project plans and coordinate completion of project deliverables from planning through completion.
  • Align activities and resources to achieve on-time and within-budget project delivery.
  • Work closely with numerous customers, customer organizations, and partners.
  • Monitor, manage, and report on the project’s finances.
  • Manage risks and make adjustments to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Report to and present to senior management within the company and customer accounts.
  • Support new business development activities.
  • Establish business processes to secure budget details, system formats, reporting formats and semi-automated loading of relevant purchase orders; invoices; etc. coded accordingly.
  • Lead and direct the Project team.
  • Work and coordinate with electrical/low voltage construction companies during installation of equipment in the field.
  • Produce RFQ/RFP proposal with the assistance of the engineering and CAD team. 

Requirements

  •  Solve organizational, team, delivery, and process problems.
  • Understand and lead the resolution to technical problems.
  • Lead and direct a highly technical, diversely skilled, and geographically dispersed team, (and these days) virtual team.
  • Work well in a team.
  • Establish strong, long-term working relationships with customers.
  • Establish, schedule, coordinate and administer all project review meetings, both internally and with relevant external organizations.
  • Ensure any/all actions are executed to secure timely and high quality completion of project construction, station approvals and commissioning.
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.

Must have

  • Knowledge of RF systems, including but not limited to, cellular, Wi-Fi, and satellite networks.
  • Previous field experience in a complex technology and systems environment.
  • Experience with dynamic, real-time systems and the unique requirements they impose.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills. Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • PMP a Plus.
